Update!

Well I thought I would update everyone on us. First Ainsley head is improving! Yeah! We went and saw the cranialogist last week for an update on the prgress of the helmet. And it is working! When she first saw the doctor on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the worst) she was an 8 1/2 well now she is between a 6 and a 6 1/2. YEAH! She is improving! They are hoping to get her to a 4 or 5 due to her age and her soft spot closing up. So the Doctor said another 6 to 7 weeks of it and they will take it off! I am so glad we decided to do this. Even if it is not making her head perfect! But luckly for us she is a girl and hair can cover up the rest. I am so glad that insurance covered most of the cost! We have been so blessed with that and it improving!
Ainsley has also started nursery (only on sunday at church so i can go to class, she is not on day care) and the leaders say that she likes it. She also like to hand toys out to all the kids in there, and if another child cries she tries to make it all better.
She is also saying HI only if you say it to her first, but at least she is saying it. She can say other things but this is her newist. Her vocab is now Daddy, Mommy or mama, baby, duck, and hi. She is still in speech thearpy and we are working with her. Her therapist will be excited that she is saying hi now.
Jonathan and I are doing great! Jonathan is actually going down to AZ next month for a amex competion. When he was last down there for a training they had a simulation game and his group have the highest score. So they are competing down there for first place! I hope he wins!! As for me I am enjoying staying home and playing with Ainsley. We are in a mommy and me gymnastic class for her age group. Basically there are games, stories, swings, and lots of other activities. It is really fun! Plus she can enter act with other kiddos and I can chat with the other moms. So all in all we are doing great!

Getting Caught

So Ainsley loves to explore even when it is Baby's kennel! I just have to laugh, cause I think it is funny! Well can you believe it Ainsley is now 18 months old? Well she is! So I took her in for her well child visit and she is getting so big! And great news she is 16 pounds! yay! I hope she just stays at that now and not lose any of it and she is 30 inches tall! So she growing in height, she is in the 20 percentile for height but not on the charts for her weight but that is ok. She is healthy and that is what matters the most. They want her to be evaluated to see if she has sensory texture disorder (I am not sure what the technical name is for that). So I will set an appointment for that tomorrow through the same place she gets her speech therapy from. So all in all I am grateful to have her and have her healthy. Posted by Picasa

Halloween Party

Ainsley had a blast at the church Halloween party! So did we! At first Ainsley was overwhelmed by all the kids running around in the gym but then she warmed right up and starting running around her self. We played a cake walk game but we didnt win. We played a fishing game and Ainsley caught a great big piece of lickerish. Yum!
As the family goes we are doing great and Jonathan is warming up to his job. I just wish he didnt have to leave for a week for business soon. I hate when he leaves, plus I never really sleep well those nights. We were excited to have Allison stay a night with us and enjoyed her company, I just hope she wasn't to bored with us. And we hope to have her up again! We are also excited to see Randy this week and get to spend time with him as well. I hope everyone else is doing great! Posted by Picasa
