Well we are leaving town!! YEAH! This year we are going to have an awesome anniversary! We are going to....
I am so excited!!! I have always wanted to go and be the kid! So thanks to grandparents who are watching our daughter, doggies, and house we are going to have a blast. I get to be the kid and not watch after one! I am so so excited! I have been to Disney Land many many times but never Disney World so I am so pumped! I will update every one when I get back!
And it didn't go over to well! Ainsley was so scared and freaked out! She was like a little Koala bear on me. Then after she ate lunch inside not near him. I asked if she wanted to go play and she said yes. As we were walking closer to the play land (where he was at but gone now) she started freaking out again saying "NO NO NO!" She remembered he was in there and didn't want to go play. So I told her he was gone and carried into the play area. This was last Wednesday.
We had Ainsley's family birthday party last Saturday. We had a Little Mermaid theme (her favorite movie). We had Jonathan's parents, sister Susan and her husband Richard, sister Allison, my parents, my sister Jennifer and her husband Kevin plus their 4 kiddos Whitney, Brandon, Audrey, Madison. A good turn out. We went out to eat a Ci Ci's Pizza first and enjoyed everyone while eating food that I didn't have to cook for 16 people. Once we were done eating we went back to our house for cake and presents. My mother in law was so wonderfully kind to come earlier that day to help me decorate Ainsley's Ariel cake and plus taught me more about cake decorating which will come in very handy through out the years! Thanks MOM! I think it turned out great for a first try. What do you think? Ainsley got so spoiled this year for her birthday. A few friends surprised us for getting her presents Thanks to Jewel, Amy, Jen, Shaunon! Plus the wonderful family members that spoiled her as well with all types of Little Mermaid stuff! Over all Ainsley had a great time. Once she opened up one of her presents she wanted to play with it right away but we were trying to get her to open all of them so she is still getting the hang of it. She had to put the outfit on right away that Shaunon gave to her. It was so cute! The best reaction from Ainsley was when she opened the gift that had Little Mermaid snack holder and she squealed in delight it was so cute and melted every ones heart! The weirdest thing is she got way better stuff then that but that is what she was so excited about.
Ainsley in her crown since she was the princess for the day!

This video was a cute moment between my dad and Ainsley. Ainsley just adores my dad.
Well today was Ainsley's well child check up. So her weight is 21 pounds! YEAH GIRLIE!!! And her height is 36 inches tall! She is so tall! She is in the 25% for height and not on the charts for weight but she is on her own curve and slowly climbing up closer to that 1% line she is only like 4 boxes below if you look at the chart. So WAY TO GO GIRLIE! YOU ARE SO BIG NOW! Also today she had her first field day at school. Where she played in the bounce houses, rode tricycles, hopped on hipty hoppers (those balls with the handles), threw went sponges and caught them back, and I can't remember the rest. But she had a blast at school. She really enjoys preschool so I guess I won't worry so much.
Today Ainsley started her first day of preschool at Freedom Elementary! There is only 14 more days left of school but since she is now 3 she can not receive services through ECI any more. They kick you out and send to school. They wanted to have her start just to get use to the teacher and the rules of the classroom. I as a mom did really good, I only called once to check on her (which they told me I could). I called half way through at 9:30. She starts at 8 am till 11 am and by then she is ready for a nap! When I picked her up I talked to her teacher Mrs. Austin and asked how she did, and she said "wonderfully!" She didn't cry once and she was so well behaved, sat in her chair the whole time during circle time, plus even stayed at her centers when she was suppose to! I was so relieved and so happy to hear she did awesome! Now only if I can become awesome to feel okay about leaving her everyday. That will come I guess!
My 2 pounder baby is now 3 years old! 3 years ago today gave birth to my miracle Ainsley! What an amazing fighter she is! We are so blessed to have her in my life. Such a joy and sweet heart always wanting to give me hugs and kisses through out the day. Everyday she does something really cute and funny that I always have to call Jonathan to let him know what cute thing she did. I also am keeping a small journal for her of something cute or exciting that she does every day so when she is older she can read over them and see all the cute things she did. Ainsley is such a delightful little girl. She is getting so big! She goes to the Dr. on Friday for her well child check up so I will tell you how much she weighs and height then. Happy Birthday my princess! We love you so much and you brighten our day every day! First bath given by mom and not the DR.
Coming home! First smile!

Here a few things I think is or was cute.
- Ainsley use to do a bridge on her head with no hands look at pic below. -Use to hang on arms like a barbell and hang and swing. Loves to hang on anything, maybe she will be a gymnast. - Watching Barney and them singing "Sun Sun, mister golden sun" and runs to a book and grabs a book that she knows there is a sun to flip the pages to the pic for the sun. -Lip singing to songs. -loves ice or Popsicles -loves dancing to anything -loves jumping on her trampoline -loves ring around the Rosie's -loves giving out hugs and kisses -if another child is crying she wants to make it all better. -loves people
And the list could go on and on but I won't bore you.
I have attached some pictures of the progress in the theater room. The first picture is meant to show the riser for the second row of seating. The riser is approx. 8 inches high (2 x 8 + 1/2" ply). The white PVC pipe you see in the picture is my order of screen fabric from SeymourAV.
The painting has officially begun. I plan on painting the top half of the room black, keep the bottom half the base color of the rest of the house, and seperate the two with a chair rail of sorts...I have some ideas for the chair rail, but not quite sure of their feasability.
I am also quite unsure of what to do with the columns. Paint them? Leave them unpainted? I thought about painting them black (the top half), and then paint silver stars on the columns so that they don't simply blend into the rest of the wall.
From this picture, you can tell that I still need to apply a second coat of paint to the walls...the first coat simply did not provide enough coverage... plus I don't think I did the best job of keeping a wet edge while painting... I will try to correct this mistake with the second coat.
Today I ordered a frame for my screen! I am pretty excited... I was originally planning on just building my own using poplar from Home Depot, but after seeing the sh*tty selection of warped and twisted pieces to pick from, I decided to go with another approax. These are actually stretcher bars for art canvases - but the kiln-dried pine and aluminum frame promised to never warp or twist regardless of changes in climate and/or humidity. I ordered a frame large enough for a 120" screen, or if I decide to place a 2" velvet border on top, a 115" screen. Either will suffice.
This week I hope to get Dad to help wire the room. The new projector should be here on Thursday... we are SO close now.
Yep that is right. My front door did not have a peep hole and did not have any windows near it to look out of. So every time some one would ring the door bell and I wasn't expecting anyone I would say to myself "I hope they don't kill me when I open the door." I would have never thought that except that in North Richland Hills around Christmas time an old lady opened her front door and got shot. So ever since that I have been a little worried. So a sales man come and rang our door bell one evening and as I was walking to the door I did my usual thinking as posted above. The man was saleing peep holes and installing them. So I said "YES". I love it. You never realize what you like or miss having until you don't have it. So since then every time I walk into the office and past the front door I just take a peep out side. I love it!
Ainsley after she was born with a IV in her head, a Artery line in her belly button, and on a ventilator, blood pressure monitor, oxygen monitor, heart monitor, under Bili lights, in a incubator. The diaper she is wearing is a size of a small to-go pad and it is too big for her. The wonderful technologies that I am thankful for! Ainsley in Jonathan's hands 8 weeks old! My fav pic ever!
I can't believe it that next week my baby is turning 3!! I am so sad! Where did the time go! They grow up so fast! Next week we are going to get her pictures taken and also go for 3 year old check up! I am so glad I don't have to go every month anymore! It is so nice just to go when you are suppose to and not have to worry about all those appointments. Well I will update everyone next week. I am also thinking of just doing a family birthday for her but not quite sure yet. I will update you and if you have any ideas on what to do let me know family.
