Heading Out! And Birthday!

This weekend I am going on a girls weekend adventure! I am so excited and this is way over due! I am so excited to have sleep over, P.J. party, eating lots of yummy food, great conversation, and fun activities! My best friend Jewel and I are headed down to Austin and San Antonio for the weekend! We are going to her sisters house which is also a best friend of mine Christina or known best as Tina-Bell! I am so excited for this trip! I am not sure of what we all have planned but I know it will be great! I will update you when I get back! I leave today and come back Sunday night!

We planned this because this was the only time Tina-bell could get off work! So with much debate for like a month about going or not going, Jonathan convinced me to go! The reason I was debating this was because Today Thursday, the day I am suppose to be leaving on my trip is Jonathan's Birthday! I am going to have to make this up big time when I get back for missing his birthday! He is taking off work so I can have some much needed girl time and above that on his birthday! What a great husband I have! So caring, loving, flexible with his schedule. If he was going to miss my birthday for guys outing I would be upset but he says he doesn't care and he wants me to have fun! I love him! Happy Birthday honey your the best!!!

I've been tagged!

I have been tagged by a couple of people so here I go!
How To Play This Game of Tag: Post these rules on your blog.List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!
3 Joys:

3 Fears:
1) Of course that something bad will happen to my family.
2) failing
3) ID theft

3 Goals:
1) Daily scripture study! I always forget for some reason, even when i have it set up through my email some how I still get behind.
2) get my scrapbooks up to date
3) To be more active in getting my food storage where it needs to be aswell as 72 hour kits!

3 Current Obsessions/Collections:
1) 72 hours kits and food storage information
2) quite time for myself
3) trying to organize (have been sick lately and everything has been put on hold)

Random Surprising Facts About Yourself:
1) I love traveling, I love being a tourist.
2)My weird goals in life is to travel to all 50 states which I have a lot them already. As well as travel to as many countries as I can! All the ones that allow us to visit and are safe to visit as well. I love traveling. I love all of it! I love being a tourist. I love site seeing and the whole bit! I love old countries, and learning there culture as well. Germany is one of my favorites, I love the old parts where there are cobble stone roads. I love their windows, the way they have a blind that is on the outside. I just love weird things like that. I love there shops and trinkets.
3) I am very sensitive to light. Once the sun comes up in the morning I have to put on a mask over my eyes to stay asleep.

Disney World Itinerary

Many of you may have wondered what we were able to do on our short trip to Orlando. Here is a breakdown of what we did at each park:

DAY 1:

Animal Kingdom

Tamu Tamu (LUNCH: Hamburgers looked and tasted like Turkey Burgers chips, and waters: $17)
Kilimanjaro Safari
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
Expedition Everest x2
TriceraTop Spin
DINOSAUR (awesome ride
similar to Indy ride at Disneyland)
I
ts Tough to be a Bug (3-D show with A Bugs Life characters)

Epcot

Spaceship Earth (narrated by Dame Judy Dench the biggest waste of time ever)
Cantina de San Angel (DINNER: taco, enchilada, burrito, drink, churro: $23)
Test Track
Mission: SPACE
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Circle of Life
Soarin
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (Fireworks show
decent)

That was just the first day, from 11AM to 9PM. Not too bad, IMO.

DAY 2:

Magic Kingdom

Main Street Bake Shop (BREAKFAST we agreed that this was the best meal we ate at the parks. Ham, Egg, & Cheese Croisant, juice, banana: $17)
Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin (Jayne beat me, but I think my gun was busted)
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway
Space Mountain
Stitchs Great Escape
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Pecos Bill C
afé (LUNCH: chicken salad, taco salad, drinks: $17)
Splash Mountain

Haunted Mansion
Its a Small World
Mickey
s PhilharMagic (another 3-D show where they spray water and blow air in your face other than that, we liked it: featured music from many of the newer animated classics.)

We left the park at 5PM on day two: we were both exhausted and hungry. We went to the hotel to relax for a few minutes, then off to Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney

Planet Hollywood (DINNER: homemade manicotti, club sandwich, appetizer, drinks: $50)
World of Disney (SHOPPING! We did all of our shopping in one location
this store has everything that you find at each individual park, and more)

DAY 3:

Disneys Hollywood Studios

Starring Rolls Café (BREAKFAST: pastries, drinks: $13)
Rockin
Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith x2
Hollywood Tower of Terror
Lights, Motors, Action (car stunt show
could have been a whole lot better if they werent racing around in Toyota Yarises)
Studio Backlot Tour
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular (Yawn
just like the stunt shows they do here at Six Flags)

That was it for day 3, we went to Walmart to get Jayne something for her sore throat, Subway for lunch, and headed off to the Airport.

What? Only 3 days in Orlando? What were we thinking?

Well, we originally planned to arrive Friday afternoon, and spend all of the remainder of the day at Animal Kingdom. We boarded our flight from Miami to Orlando, only to be told to unboard to aircraft due to a mechanical problem they were having with the door. Five minutes later they get on the PA and announce that the flight has been canceled. The accommodating flight is for the next morning at 7am. So, after a quick huddle, Jayne and I decide to rent a car and drive the 3.5 hours to Orlando.

We ended up getting into Orlando at about 7:30 in the evening. We went to the airport to pick up our luggage (which was sent through on one of the next flights to Orlando), and then went to dinner at Charley
s Steakhouse. This is where Jayne and I ate the best steaks that we have ever eaten in our lives. Very good. We then went to the hotel and planned what we would do at the parks.

On Saturday, we got scammed into listening to a timeshare sales pitch in exchange for free breakfast and discounted park tickets. That is why we didnt get to the park until 11am Saturday morning.

All things considered, it was a VERY successful and fun trip. I am SOLD on the Orlando/Disney experience, and we are already talking about when we will go back. I think I have covered everything if not, I will append more later.

Disney World!

We had a blast there! It was so nice! The resort was fabulous and I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub relaxing after a day in the park. It was so much fun being the kid and having so much fun experiencing everything. It was hot but since we are from TX we could handle it. Here are a few pics from the trip. After a long trip of excitement I (Jayne) got sick with a sore throat and after we got home I got a fever. Now the fever is gone and just waiting for the sore throat to go away. But the trip was great! I enjoyed it so much! Thank you honey love you! While we were there in Orlando the space center launched a rocket which we got all the smoke and if you weren't waiting to get on a ride like we were you could have seen it, but we did get all the lovely smoke and ashes falling down around us. Nothing to bad or gross though.
