Theater Screenshots

Ok, it has been forever since I have posted any theater updates. Well, the theater is essentially finished... about 99% done. I have a couple of things left to finish, but the painting is done, the carpet is in, the screen is up, the furniture is in, and all of the equipment is set to go. We have actually been enjoying movies in the theater for a couple of weeks now.I just wanted to post a couple of screenshots of the theater in action. Here are some shots from two of my favs, Transformers and 300.

Please forgive the picture quality - these are taken using our somewhat outdated camera in a totally dark room - if you have spare time, turn off the lights and try taking pictures of a movie on your tv. In fact, try pausing a move and getting a clear, sharp image from the movie. It's hard!

If the color looks off to you, don't worry. The projector has been professionally calibrated by an ISF certified tech - any issues with image quality, color, or clarity/sharpness are solely the fault of the camera.

Enjoy!

This Ainsley Loving to dance with her pom poms and she will only dance to the Wiggles with her pom poms. Silly girl!! Sorry my house is dirty. Jewel dropped of some toys and other stuff off at my house to go through to see if I wanted any of it. Well as soon as I opened it she found this skirt and Pom poms and left the mess and wanted to dance. SO I really wanted to capture it on film. No worries my house is clean again. Plus this video is a little old but I was debating weather to show it or not from the mess in my house. THANK YOU JEWEL!!! For this she loves it and spends a lot of time perfecting her moves!!

Chuck E Cheese!

My good friend Connie came into town to visit family before husband has to deploy to Iraq again. He has only been home for 5 months. So they had their daughter (Lexi) birthday party here for all the family and close friends to come.

This was Ainsley's first time to Chuck E Cheese and at first she was just amazed at everything she saw. But was'nt too sure of the games or if she wanted to do anything. But then she really enjoyed all the little kid rides they had. They are pretty much like the rides outside of grocery stores and inside the mall, real slow. But she loves them. Their were charcters that were in the little rides with her and she just kept staring at them like "what ar you doin here?". Here are a few pics.
with Chuck E

She so badly wanted to ride the horse but everytime she got up she would be like "NO NO NO, DOWN DOWN!" but after 4 times of that she finally got on and LOVED it and didn't want to get off!! And she did the same to the Clock ride that goes around up and down. Here are a few pics.

I told her to put her arms up! She said " YEAH!!!"

The Keller Fair

The city of Keller had a little fair in town so we decided to see if Ainsley would like it. Basically she only liked 2 rides. The Train. Which at first she did not like at all but then she was laughing and enjoyed it.

Then she like the Carousel.

I am sure glad we didn't buy the unlimited ride arm band it would have been a waste for her and money. So maybe next year she will enjoy it better. This year still a little scared of it. But what she did ride she enjoyed it and we loved to see her smile and laugh!

Who Smashed Who Now!!

Any one who knows me knows I love swimming! I love the summer Olympics! Mostly swimming, diving, and gymnastics. I am a fellow swimmer so I love the sport and love to watch. The French have been trash talking us saying "The Americans? We're going to smash them. That's what we came here for." Well they fuel our fire and we WON!! I wasn't sure who would win it came in really close. But Jonathan and I were out of seats and jumping around, and holler-in. I am so excited I had to blog about it!!! I know I am crazy, but I love it! And in one article on line the head line says it ALL!
Thank You French Guy For Motivating The USA Swim Team!

Breaking Dawn Book Release Party

Saturday night I ventured out with a friend (Ashley) to the Breaking Dawn release party at Barnes and Nobles. Which is the fourth book in the Twilight series.

I have never been to a release party before and did not know what to suspect. It was pretty good, but not all that I hoped though. I felt old, there were so many teenage girls everywhere. There were some crazy costumes that some of them wore and a lot of girls wearing prom dresses. They had chess boards lined up, and a mic readings so people can read out loud their favorite parts of the books. They had a ballroom instructors, Ashley and I participated in the Salsa.

They had a photographer taking free pictures. I was trying to be silly I don't I pulled it so well but it was fun any ways.

There was this one couple that was dressed the best so we took a picture of them. Their Vang's looked so real so I commented on them. And the lady says that she makes them for a living at some vampire novelties store close by and they are made like dentist make real teeth so they are permanent on her teeth. Crazy!! I wouldn't want Vang's all the time. Creepy! And I thought her eyes looked a little like Marilyn Manson. Crazy couple.

Barnes and Nobles was packed. It got hot in there, felt like we were outside. I am glad I went but I am not sure if I will go to another one. But at least I experienced it once in my life. I did run into a few other ladies from church and I am so glad. I really enjoy Bonnie, Rachel and Susan Skeans. I think they are just too funny! They were great and silly as well. If I would have known we all could have gone together and had a party.

What we've been up to

Our little girlie is crazy! This is what I found after I let Ainsley go outside to play so I could make dinner. This is a sand and water table. She had stripped off all her clothes and got into the water part to play in the water. She is looking at me cause I caught her. Then as I sat and watched it got more funny look at next picture. She is just too funny at times. So we went out and got her a little pool thinking maybe the clothes stripping would come to a stop. Well she hates the little pool so its a no go. But since it has gotten so much hotter her she really doesn't like being out side to much in the after noons.

Every year my parents stake rents out the Denton water park to have some good ol' water fun for free. The past 2 years we have enjoyed it. This year Ainsley really enjoyed the lazy river we must have went around at least 50 times. She didn't even mind the crowd. It was a fun evening. Before the water park my parents, sister and family had a BBQ and then went off to the park. Here are a cute pictures of Ainsley in the children's splash area.
