some cute pics
Ainsley being a great helper! She loves her little brother.
Now for a question for you ladies. How long should you wait till you go back to church with a new baby? Or wait to go out and about with a new baby? I am dying to get out just because I was couped up most of my pregnancy so I just can't wait to get back in the swing of things.

I will just repeat what a really great doctor told me after my last one. He said that when they are young like this, they are so full of antibodies-stored up from when they were inside you, and also from the breastmilk, that they are more safe to go out now, then at like 5 or 6 months when they lose some of that natural immunity. It makes a lot of sense when you think of it like that. So i say bundle him up and get out! I totally understand that cooped up feeling!!

Great pictures! As for getting out, I have taken Lucy out to the store and to see friends since she was a week old. With that said though, I won't take her to church til she's 4-5 weeks old.

Boy are those kiddos cute! Sure makes me miss getting to see you everyday. So fun to see Ainsley loving up her baby brother.
I say wait at least a month to go to church. Too many people want to touch new babies.
Love you lots! Mom

He's holding his head up so well already! As for taking them out...I'm probably the wrong person to give advice, I take my babies out really early. Kaden was blessed at 3 1/2 weeks (although we only stayed for sacrament) and I had my in-laws in town with Justin-he went to all of church at 2 1/2 weeks. (Probably way too early-but I like to get back into the swing of things) I think it is what you are comfortable with.
P.S. Ainsley's fingernails are so cute!

I hear you on being stuck in the house and my bed rest was only 6 weeks! I would say do what you are comfortable with. I would start going on short outings, just don't let people touch him. :) Glad everyone is well.

We love the updates! I would wait to bring him to church for at least six weeks. As for going out, our doctor said most things are not air borne so as long as you don't let sick people touch him, you are o.k.

Emily Fay was at Walmart when she was 3 days old. Cailynn was at Walgreens when she was 18 hours old. Dakota left one hospital and went to another to see his cuz being born. I say get out!
