Happy Mothers Day!

my moms senior picture

I learned a lot from my mom! How to be compassionate, caring, looking out for others, always tell people thank you and send a thank you note, tons of crafting, and so much more the list can become endless. My mom was so thoughtful and did so many things for people to help and make them feel better. A lot I found out after she passed so my mom did so many things in such a quite humble way. I use to be nothing like my mom and now I wouldn't mind. She was so loved in our community and church, as well as her work.
Growing up my family helped pay for missions, gave some of their cars away, gave furniture to families in need, alwaysed played secret Santa, and gave people odd jobs around our home to help with their finances. They showed so much compassion to everyone they knew. I was taught by the best parents anyone could have.
My mom put herself last and everyone first. Always made sure we had clean clothes, and fun activities to keep us happy. Took us on great adventures, and many laughs with her. We had many road trips where it was just my mom and I and moments where we really got to know each other. Yes we fought, but maybe we are too much alike or we just wanted what was best for both of us. We were both hard headed women but in the end we both knew we loved each other more than anything. Growing up our secret password was "love you for infinity". Moments like those you have to hold on to when times are tough or your missing your mom. I know I've taken her for granted but at the same time I know that is how children are until they're older. I know she probably felt the same way when her mom passed. I love my mom dearly and she will always be my mom. Thank you for being the best mom you could be. Thank you for always being their for me and my family as well. Late night phone calls, scaring you, playing tricks on you and just good old hanging out times. I love you!

Happy mothers day to all the hard working moms out there. Our work is endless and underpaid but we love our families no matter what and we wouldn't change it.
